When you wish to make a booking, you will complete the online booking process either directly on our website, or through one of our third-party booking providers. Once your booking has been accepted, you will receive a booking confirmation from us directly. Until such time as the booking confirmation is issued the booking is not complete.
By making a booking request you warrant that you have the authority of all persons in your party to book on their behalf, you accept these terms and conditions and agree that you will indemnify Orchard Hideaways against all loss and damage arising directly or indirectly from any act or default by yourself or any person or animal accompanying you.
You must be over 18 years old to make a booking and to stay on-site without other adults.
We will try to ensure that all facilities connected to the site are available to you during your stay. If services and facilities are not available due to circumstances beyond our control no liability will attach to us and you will not be entitled to a refund.
You will not be refunded in the event that some members of your party fail to arrive or you decide to leave the site early.
We reserve the right to terminate your permission to stay on-site immediately in the event that you or those in your party are in breach of these terms and conditions or are in breach of Park Rules. In the event that permission to stay is terminated as a result of such breach, you will not be refunded.
Payment will be automatically taken in full six weeks before your arrival.
In the event that you fail to make payment of the balance as indicated above, your booking will be canceled.
The guest will have free cancellation up until six weeks prior to arrival. If they cancel within the six weeks prior to arrival the guest will be charged 100% of the reservation (we will honor any reservation cancelations due to covid related lockdowns by allowing you to move your reservation to a later date at the same price)
Our new key code system means that you are able to arrive at your leisure after 3 pm on the date of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the date of departure. All late arrivals are kindly asked to please respect our quiet hours from 11 pm.
The basic price of your booking entitles you to hire a camping pod and locate one car. Each collection includes either two or three guests. Additional guests and optional extras are charged once your booking has been confirmed. Details will be included within the booking confirmation. Please see our website for current charges or contact us.
In the event that you decide that you wish to stay beyond booked dates, we cannot guarantee that this will be possible nor can we guarantee that the same pod will be available.
The number of people occupying each pod must not exceed the number stated in the booking form.
All of our pods are dog friendly, please ensure that you book this as an optional extra through your booking confirmation.
Personal belongings are your responsibility and we will not be liable for any personal belonging lost/damaged during your stay.
Any damages or losses must be paid for before departure.
Orchard Hideaways is dog friendly and all pets are allowed to stay in any of our pods. These must be booked and paid for as an extra to your booking, through the confirmation email. If circumstances justify it, the consent can be revoked at any time. Breeds subject to the ‘Dangerous Dogs Act 1991’ are not permitted at all.
Dogs must be kept under proper control on a short lead so as not to be a nuisance to or frighten other users of the park.
Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets.
Do not leave your dog unattended at any time.
Please exercise your dog away from other pods and be respectful of other visitors to our site.
Occupiers are reminded that they are responsible for the conduct of their guests and family.
We expect the following standards of behaviour:
To act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.
You further agree that you will not:
Musical instruments, CD players, radios, televisions and other appliances must not be used in such a way as to cause nuisance to others.
No excessive noise is permitted at any time and in particular at night between 2300 hours and 08000 hours. Please respect your fellow guests and keep noise to an absolute minimum.
We operate a strict no smoking policy in all of our park buildings, including electronic cigarettes. This extends to our camping pods
Open fires and ground level BBQs are not permitted. Designated BBQ areas must be used.
You may only use charcoal-based barbeques only, no wood or fuels that cause sparks.
You must not leave any litter on the ground. Please use the bins provided and help to keep the site clean and tidy. No firearms or offensive weapons of any kind are allowed on the site.
Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited, and the natural condition of trees and vegetation is to be preserved. The tying of ropes to trees is not permitted.
You must not dig any holes or trenches on the site.
Children must be supervised properly at all times so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others. Please ensure that your children always behave in a responsible manner particularly when they are cycling, roller skating, skate boarding, roller blading, using a scooter or playing ball games. Underage drinking is not permitted on the site.
Guests should report all accidents to the management team using the contact details provided.
Save for drugs taken in accordance with treatment prescribed and directed by a qualified medical practitioner drugs are not permitted on the site. Any person found in possession of such drugs and the rest of his or her party will be asked to leave the site immediately and all monies paid will be forfeited. The Police will be called.
Sport and games are not permitted in close proximity to other pods.
The use of drones is not permitted on or over the park.
The use of generators is not permitted.
The management reserves the right to require the immediate vacation of any person(s) who persistently fail to comply with the booking terms and conditions.
Help us to effectively manage the safety of our team and guests while visiting Orchard Hideaways:
Be aware of others and maintain a 2-metre social distance at all times from other holidaymakers, team members and other visitors while on the site.
If you have children with you, please ensure they are adequately supervised and also abide by the social distancing guidelines.
Please regularly wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
There are also hand sanitiser stations around the site. Please make use of these regularly when using the facilities.
You may wish to bring additional supplies with you, including soap, hand gel, gloves, toilet roll, disinfectant and hand sanitiser.
We will be increasing the frequency of cleaning, including regularly disinfecting high-frequency touchpoints.
Between bookings, we will use a fogging machine to sanitise the pods prior to cleaning.
Do not holiday on the site if you have a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change in your sense of smell or taste.
If you are feeling unwell, you have an obligation to report your symptoms to site management. If you fall ill you should also make arrangements to return to your main home immediately and self-isolate.
